**Since the kickoff of our new membership program a few months ago, we’ve received essential contributions from an inspiring number of supporters who helped us secure a new future for the City Reliquary. I am pleased to announce that w****e raised $4,545 in individual donations from generous supporters like you and also met our financial goal of $3,000 in monthly recurring memberships, all of which will support the most basic needs of our storefront museum.** **This simply would not have been possible without such an incredible show of support. I am humbled and deeply grateful.** ** ** **When we closed our doors in mid-March, no one could have anticipated how rapidly our everyday life would change, from how we educate our children to how we meet with family, friends, and colleagues. But what hasn’t changed is our ability to be resilient in times of great turmoil, just as our city and its residents have been for hundreds of years. ** **Now, you can help us continue our new path forward. ****By joining our membership program or making a year-end tax-deductible contribution, you can help us move beyond simply surviving and toward a new way of thriving. ** **By becoming a sustaining member, you’ll help us achieve our new goal of rehiring our administrative staff and refocusing on the very important task of cataloging our collections in a new, virtually accessible archive. ** **By making a fully tax-deductible year-end donation, you will provide the necessary support for our upcoming exhibitions and public programming that have been put on pause during the past 6 months. Your gift will increase our capacity to produce both virtual content and limited in-person exhibits and events.   ** **Your support makes possible our work to connect the public with New York’s living history through our permanent displays and many exhibitions; presentations by local historians; performances by local artists; and so much more that reveals how our city’s past persists in its present.** **Every day, we look to the future with hope.
