Thank You for Your Support This Year!
As we enter the holiday season, I would like to once again say thank you.** Thanks to your generous efforts, the City Reliquary will survive the biggest challenge of its nearly 20-year history.** In a time where arts and nonprofit organizations have been struggling to survive, and many important cultural spaces have been lost, we are deeply humbled and thankful.
Our **2021 Annual Report** will show just how much you have helped us achieve. We hope you will take pride in knowing you are an essential part of the Reliquary support team. Unlike other museums, the City Reliquary was not founded on a substantial endowment (“endowment” hardly enters into our vocabulary!). The organization grew from a window display in Dave’s Grand Street apartment thanks to the commitment of everyday New Yorkers. Today, that support is represented in a big part by our team of talented volunteers.
As our 20th year in Williamsburgh approaches, we face challenges old and new, including necessary upgrades to our outdoor event space and an impending rent increase. To those of you who have purchased a membership or made a one-time donation, we are incredibly grateful. Your commitment will help us close out our second decade with confidence and continue to represent NYC in all its complexity.
