The City Reliquary will be hosting its [13th annual Collectors' Night](http://www.cityreliquary.org/collectors-night-2018/) on April 14th, 6-8PM at the [New York City Fire Museum](http://www.nycfiremuseum.org/). Join us in celebrating curious collections, displays, and ephemera!
Special guest speakers will focus on municipal collections of New York City and feature:

Nelson Molina's [Treasures in the Trash ](https://www.nytimes.com/2012/07/24/nyregion/in-new-york-sanitation-dept-garage-an-art-gallery.html)
And a special presentation from Amanda Pietrzykowski, Collections Manager of the [New York City Fire Museum](http://www.nycfiremuseum.org/)

The City Reliquary's sculpture exhibition - in conjunction with *NYC Trash! Past, Present, & Future* - presented the work of ten local trash artists last Saturday, April 27th. These works will be on display in the Reliquary's backyard garden through Sunday, April 29th. [Robin Nagle](https://robinnagle.com/), anthropologist-in-residence for New York's Department of Sanitation, will provide an overview of the site and its role in New York City's trash history. Transportation to and from Dead Horse Bay will be provided.
