We are thrilled to announce our 14th edition of Collector's Night! Presented in collaboration with [Atlas Obscura](atlasobscura.com) and held for the first time at The Bell House in Gowanus, our collection of collectors will be bigger than ever before.
We are especially pleased to announce our featured presenter, Laetitia Barbier of the [Morbid Anatomy Museum](http://morbidanatomy.blogspot.com/)! To celebrate [Bastille Day](https://time.com/4402553/bastille-day-history-july-14/), French-born Laetitia Barbier will show some guillotine models from her personal collection. She'll explain how, as a very young child, a complete misunderstanding of the infamous machine's purpose led her to a life-long fascination and discuss the horror and titillation the guillotine inspired throughout the 19th century.
Plus, we'll have our annual eccentric variety of fantastic treasures on view! Have your future predicted with a vintage decision-making machine! See bottles filled with works of art, and other bottles filled with assorted objects from around the world! Paintings, postcards, packaging, and propellers! And you'll have a chance to make an action figure with The Art Neighborhood's Lisa Ludwig!

**The Art Neighborhood Keeps Growing!**

**Our Next Action Figure Workshop is Saturday, July 13 from 1:00 to 5:00!**

[The Art Neighborhood](http://www.theartneighborhood.com/) is an interactive and collaborative art installation created by Brooklyn artist [Lisa Ludwig](http://lisamarieludwig.com/). It depicts an alternate universe shantytown populated by [superhero action figures](https://www.facebook.com/pg/theartneighborhood/photos/?ref=page_internal) built by community participants over the past 10 years. We encourage everyone to take part!

Have you seen [the new figures in the Art Neighborhood](https://www.facebook.com/pg/theartneighborhood/photos/) made by visitors to the Reliquary? Would you like to make your own? Visit the Museum on **Saturday, July 13**! We'll provide all the supplies you need - just let your imagination run wild!

As a community museum, new exhibitions and programming are only possible with your support.
