[Collectors' Night](http://cityreliquary.org/cn17) is **this Saturday.** Join us at the [New York City Fire Museum](http://nycfiremuseum.org) for one of our biggest annual events that highlight unique New Yorkers. **Roger Clark of NY1** visited us yesterday for a fun segment with a few collectors. - Schoolteacher Miriam Sicherman of the [*Closet Archeology* project](https://nyti.ms/1Kwa5gT) will discuss the 20th-century debris her 4th graders discovered under the floorboards of their 1913 NYC public school.
- Mike Zohn of [Obscura Antiques & Oddities](http://www.obscuraantiques.com/) will discuss his collection of original cover art from1960s- and ‘70s-era Mexican comic books.
- Artist and activist [LuLu LoLo](http://www.lululolo.com/) of the [Where Are The Women Monuments Project](https://nyti.ms/2mKvaw8) will perform two short monologues drawn from the obituaries of [Elizabeth Tashjian](https://nyti.ms/2jKDOLZ), founder of [The Nut Museum](http://www.roadsideamerica.com/nut/CTOLDmus.html), and [Hugh Hicks](https://nyti.ms/2m6St6D), whose massive light bulb collection formed the [Mount Vernon Museum of Incandescent Lighting](http://www.roadsideamerica.com/tip/7591).

Brooklyn-based film/video archivist Russell Scholl returns to the Reliquary with a program of musical shorts both ecstatic and sublime. See vintage jazz, pop, country and gospel performances through shorts, Soundies, and television and film appearances ranging from the late 1920s to the early 21st century. Join us for some of the rarest and finest examples of 20th-century popular music.
Run time: 80 minutes, with one intermission.
