Art. Music. Hardware.
What else do you need to have a great time?
Our pals at [Crest Hardware](http://crestgarden.tumblr.com/) (aka the best goldang hardware store in New York) are putting on the Fifth Annual Crest Fest this Saturday, the opening shindig for this year's Crest Hardware Art Show (C.H.A.S.). It's going to be a not-so-quiet riot, and you should be there.
C.H.A.S. is an annual show of hardware-inspired art, and this year's exhibition includes more than 100 different pieces from artists working in a variety of media. In addition, Crest Fest will feature live bands, DJs, creative vendors, a photobooth, tasty food, and cold, cold drinks.
If that weren't amazing enough, proceeds from Crest Fest go to a little ol' museum down the street called the City Reliquary. Maybe you've heard of it.
Check out [the Crest Fest website ](http://cresthardwareartshow.com/wordpress)for more details on the festivities (crestivities?) and C.H.A.S., which will be up through the end of August. See you this Saturday!
PS: The City Reliquary will be open as usual. If you're feeling culturally ambitious, swing by at noon to check out Jahi Sabater's show of Bronx River photographs, then mosey up Metropolitan for Crest Fest. |
