**NEWS/REMINDERS/MISCELLANEOUS:**
 

     A few things this month. First, we still need coverage for one shift coming up very soon: Saturday, 11/24. Please let me know ASAP if you can do either one on this day.

     Secondly, Beth, our Assistant Director, will be away at the end of the month, so this is one of those rare times where we could use some volunteer help for weekday shifts. We need coverage for Thursday and Friday, December 20 and 21, and Thursday and Friday, December 27 and 28. If you can possibly do some, a piece, all or whatever else on any of these days, please let me know and we can try to work something out.

     Next, our super successful special exhibit, Empire Skate, will be closing on Sunday, November 25th. We will not be having a closing event or any more dedicated fanfare, so just a reminder to anybody who wants to check it out one last time before it's Reliquary history.
    
     Finally, we will be having our annual holiday party for our volunteers and members on Friday, December 14, from 6pm to 9pm at the museum. There will be food, drink and a holiday fun for all. We absolutely don't get together enough (or at all, unfortunately), so this is great opportunity for us all to hang out and catch up (or meet fellow Reliquarians for the very first time in many cases). Last year we had an excellent turnout and we'd like for an even better one this year. This is our yearly event to thank all those who give our museum life and celebrate our hard work together. We would love to see everybody there, so please let me know if you plan to attend so we can get an approximate head count.
