Strong Minds, Weak Backs: The Coney Island Velodrome Saga**

Celebrate the opening of this new exhibit that explores the remarkable story of the Coney Island Velodrome, a bicycle racing venue with banked tracks and seating for 10,000 people located next to the Coney Island BMT elevated tracks. Built in the 1920s and torn down in the 1950s, it was the height of popularity with NYC's avid cycling community.
