I'm writing to personally invite you to [Meals & Spiels 2016](http://cityreliquary.org/mealsnspiels), the annual benefit fundraiser for The City Reliquary that will take place this Wednesday, October 26 in the reception hall of Williamsburgh's Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.

We’ll serve an impressive dinner showcasing the talents of celebrity chefs from Williamsburgh and around Brooklyn. We’ll also feature an outstanding lineup of talented presenters to help us celebrate the 130th birthday of the Statue of Liberty--secular saint of the New York Harbor and of the City Reliquary. The evening’s honoree, Charlie DeLeo, "Keeper of the Flame," will also share his own epic history: how he personally helped Lady Liberty in “Illuminating the World.”

We're very excited to mark our 14th year as a museum, and our 10th year at our Metropolitan Avenue location. Every day we're grateful for the longevity we've enjoyed in fast-paced and ever-changing Wiliamsburgh. So often, I hear people describe us as a most unlikely institution existing despite all odds. We are just that--the faintly miraculous museum made possible by YOU!
