**Izzy B **(she/her), representing the **1 train**. A transit justice advocate and fierce performer, Izzy knows how to fight for your right to ride safely and seductively. She'll perform a **Chappell Roan-inspired** number about subway delays.

**Teresa Hui** (she/her), representing the **B and Q Brighton Beach lines**. A truly multi-hyphenate New Yorker, Teresa's credits include the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, Apollo Theater, NYC Marathon, and Troma Entertainment. She'll appear with a special guest star in a tribute to the **R46 trains**.

**Fortissima of the F Train** (she/her) will represent her eponymous line. Fortissima is an operatic mermaid and subway siren who will bring joy, whimsy, and sea sparkle to the stage in her **high-note** performance.

**Pete Zaparty** (he/they), representing the L and M lines, is the drag king alter ego of artist, costume designer, and Irish dancer Alexandra Owensby, who breaks down gender norms across multiple creative industries. **Amazing Amy** (she/her) is a yoga devotee and contortionist with a background in modern dance, gymnastic, and martial arts. Her feats of flexibility take great skill at any age—and achieving them at age 70 is truly spectacular. Amy will represent multiple lines through her performance including the **A train**.

**Emily Hupp **(she/her), is a history buff and style icon who is always on the move. Her extravagant and be-rhinestoned creations are frequent stars of the Mermaid Parade and** **Easter Bonnet Parade. She'll be representing the Midtown mainstay **42nd Street Shuttle** with a song and dance tribute to transit woes and subway flirtations.

**Bimini Cricket** (she/her) hails from Australia and now calls Brooklyn home. A singer and performer on stages across the city (and even in cartoons), Bimini has worked as a clown in every borough. She'll be performing a comedic burlesque act in honor of the **B train**.

## About Miss Subways The City Reliquary Miss Subways updates the historic “Miss Subways” beauty contest held in New York City from 1941 to 1976 (and resurrected once by the MTA in 2004) for the 21st century. **The event expands on the progressive history of Miss Subways as the first racially integrated beauty competition and invites contestants of all gender identities, body types, and ages 18+ to apply.** The first City Reliquary Miss Subways was presented in 2017.

Contestants representing their subway line of choice compete for the prized title of Miss Subways and the transit tiara. A panel of local celebrity judges evaluates their costumes, talent performances, and answers to subway-themed questions to decide who will represent NYC straphangers as the next Miss Subways.
