Bodega Cats of New York: A Pre-Release Slideshow and Author Talk

Friday, November 13th | 7pm | $20 Admission | Get Tickets Here

Join The City Reliquary on Friday, November 13th, for another pre-release slideshow and talk by Dan Rimada of Bodega Cats of New York, drawn from the archive behind his new book.

We will look at the cats, the stores, the people who care for them, and the legal gray area around working shop cats. Audience questions will follow.

Bodega Cats of New York's upcoming book is a photographic record of the cats who live and work behind the counters of New York's corner stores. Sixty cats across all five boroughs, photographed by Gulce Kilkis, with the stories of the people who feed them and name them.

Epic Ink, an imprint of Quarto, publishes the 240-page hardcover on November 24.

Please note: seats are limited, so grab your ticket now!

In case you missed it…

We scoured the Internet and shared some relics of past NYC Halloweens. See the throwbacks below and tag us if you post your own!
