Hey all,
If the counterfeit money scam wasn't enough for us, we now have some new perpetrators in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, this situation is possibly a bit scarier. The following is from the Facebook page of a business right near us:
<img data-file-id="1580465" height="372" src="https://gallery.mailchimp.com/1d314f6c7241bcaf87d0d872a/images/1dd5c15f-a3be-416c-bbb7-0cb9a10b50fa.jpg" style="border: 0px;width: 640px;height: 372px;margin: 0px;line-height: 100%;outline: none;padding: 0;text-decoration: none;display: inline;" width="640"/>
<img data-file-id="1580461" height="637" src="https://gallery.mailchimp.com/1d314f6c7241bcaf87d0d872a/images/cdad18f6-92ce-400d-8ccb-7dea35a364eb.jpg" style="border: 0px;width: 640px;height: 637px;margin: 0px;line-height: 100%;outline: none;padding: 0;text-decoration: none;display: inline;" width="640"/>
Please be vigilant and on the look out for anybody trying to lock the door on you. If so, don't even wait to exchange pleasantries and call 911 immediately. It goes without saying that you should not give them any private information about the museum, yourself or anything at all. Please use your best judgment and proceed with caution if you are to encounter them. Even if they are not attempting the scam, if you happen to see them near or at the museum, please let us know.
Thanks,
Dominick
