**SCHEDULING:**

**SHIFTS** **– **
-Saturday, 8/31: 3pm – 6pm
-Sunday, 9/1: 12pm – 3pm and 3pm – 6pm
-Saturday, 9/7: 12pm – 3pm and 3pm – 6pm
-Sunday, 9/8: 12pm – 3pm and 3pm – 6pm
-Saturday, 9/14: 12pm – 3pm and 3pm – 6pm
-Sunday, 9/15: 12pm – 3pm and 3pm – 6pm
-Saturday, 9/21: 12pm – 3pm and 3pm – 6pm
-Sunday, 9/22: 12pm – 3pm and 3pm – 6pm
-Saturday, 9/28: 12pm – 3pm and 3pm – 6pm
-Sunday, 9/29: 12pm – 3pm and 3pm – 6pm
**EVENTS** **– **
-Saturday, September 7**: **Collectors' Night 2019. This recently rescheduled event will now be held at our at Our Lady of Mount Carmel church, a few blocks from the museum, from 6 to 9. Since it's no longer at the Bell House, we'll be handling ticketing, sign-in, setting up, concessions, and clean-up ourselves, so we'd appreciate help from 4 and on, when the collectors will arrive. Also, if anyone has a nice camera and is interested in taking pictures for our various internet presences, we need that as well. As many volunteers as possible.
Saturday, September 14: King Pizza Records Luau. This is an all day music fest, from 2 to 11. We need people for various shifts all day long (specifically after hours, 6 to 11) to help run the bar and/or help with the door sales.
Sunday, September 22: Morbid Anatomy is bringing in a speaker to do a presentation. We need one volunteer to run the bar or door, from 6 to 9
Saturday, September 28: Coney Island Clip Show. This is a presentation on Coney Island's history through film clips and is the first of a series of three film clip nights that will include theme-appropriate snacks and we will have a bar. We need one volunteer from 5:30-9 to help with setup/bar/door/breakdown.
Thursday, October 3: Miss Subways Extravaganza 2019! The event will be at Littlefield from 7 to 10, but having some volunteer help from around 5 to help set up would be great. Littlefield will be operating the bar and the door but we'll have a merchandise/information table to be staffed. A photographer would be very welcome for this event as well. All many volunteers as possible.
**NEWS/REMINDERS/MISCELLANEOUS:**
As shown above, we have many events on the calendar in September, so we can certainly use all hands on deck this month. Also, we still need three of the four shifts filled for the last weekend this month (8/31 and 9/1), so please let me know again about that weekend even if you already let me know with last month's email.
This Friday, August 16, around 5, Dave will (hopefully) be giving one of his famous "Founder's Tours." This is a great opportunity to hear the stories and his deep knowledge about some of the artifacts in our collection. All volunteers who would like to join are welcome.
