**EVENTS** **– **
**Friday, September 14:** Summer of Skate film series finale
–Get Rollin'. Aside from the film there will be a special talk from the filmmakers of United Skates. One vollie needed
from about 6pm to 10pm.
**Saturday, September 15:** All day music festival with King Pizza Records. This is their third year of hosting an end-of-summer Psychic Luau with us. Two vollies needed: one from 12pm to 5pm and one from 5pm to 10pm.
**Thursday, September 27:** Our second annual (revived) Miss Subways pageant. This year it is off-site, at Littlefield (in the Gowanus/Park Slope area). Last year was an amazing event and this year should be even better. The venue will be handling many of our normal event roles, but we still want as many vollies as possible there representing the museum for this signature event of ours.

**NEWS/REMINDERS/MISCELLANEOUS:**
This is just one of those super basic reminders for something that almost of all of you do on a regular basis, but for the sake of clarity: please make sure to confirm all shift assignments with me. You don't need to go out of your way to let me know as soon as you receive the official schedule email or any other random time, but simply confirming my pre-shift reminder messages is perfect. Also, as always, if something comes up and you know in advance that you need to swap or cancel a shift, letting me know as soon as possibly is always super helpful. Thanks for humoring me on these basics and remember that this wonderful museum could not exist without the dedication of you, our volunteers, all working together to keep us up and running!
Big thanks as always,
Dominick
