**MERMAID PARADE PREP & PIZZA PARTY TOMORROW NIGHT!! ** ATTENTION ALL RELIQUARY MERMAIDS!!

June 17th marks the 35th Annual Mermaid Day Parade at Coney Island. This is going to be the first year that the Reliquary has had a presence in the parade, and for this inaugural year, we're going to keep it low-key but a lot of fun.

We're partnering with Two Boots Pizza and rather than a float, we'll be participating as a group of folks all dressed in mermaid costumes & carrying a banner. Everyone will be able to create their own costumes: maybe a Statue of Liberty-themed mermaid, or an under-the-sea Civic New Yorker... the possibilities are endless! 

**To help with brainstorming, costume-making, and camaraderie, we'll be hosting three workshop evenings: May 25th (tomorrow!), June 1st, and June 15th from 6-8.**
